TAMPA -- The entire Tampa Bay area and Bulls fan base is encouraged to "Go Green" when USF faces 2008 Orange Bowl Champion Kansas on Friday, Sept. 12 at 8 p.m.
The highly-anticipated non-conference matchup will be televised live from Raymond James Stadium by ESPN2 and is expected to have a similar atmosphere to the 2007 home game against West Virginia.
"We want the entire stadium to be blanketed in USF green for our biggest non-conference game of the year," said Assistant Director of Athletics for Marketing & Revenue Development AyoTaylor-Dixon. "We hope that 66,000 people will create a sea of green and enhance the in-game atmosphere and home field advantage."
In advance of the event, USF Fans can show support for the Bulls by purchasing the official Go Green t-shirt at Bulls Heaven, the official merchandise partner of USF Athletics. The t-shirt will also available online by logging onto BullsHeaven.com.
The official Go Green shirt should hit the shelves later this week.
